Gotland Brass

The Brass sextet has a vide flexibility in terms of genre and likes to mix old and new music. We play "Brunnsmusik", which is an old tradition we carry on in the Visby Botanical Garden early summers and of course on genuine instruments. We also give church concerts which can be purely Renaissance music, but we like to mix our repertoire with some old jazz elements, folk music and well-known songs in professional arrangements. Furthermore, we perform seven concerts at the common libraries at Gotland twice a season and also give school concerts for classes 1-6. Together with the the pupils we also perform school musicals, we have twelve different programs, where the children themselves participate and get to try our instruments. In addition to this, we play recurring different programs in Gotland's elderly care services.
